MHN supports the
Arabic Quitline launch 2003
The Arabic Smokers Quitline is a
unique and important smoking cessation initiative aimed at the UK’s
large Arab populous. Organised by QUIT in association with the British
Heart Foundation, the official
launch of the Arabic Quitline was held at the House of Lords on Thursday
23rd October.
The Muslim Health Network was pleased to
assist by offering consultancy on event banners, posters, translation
and a special
8-page Arabic Quitline
booklet. A warm reception, good company, interesting speakers and
a delicious dinner at Kundan Restaurant, London assured a memorable
evening.
The Muslim Health Network would like to congratulate QUIT, The British
Heart Foundation and all participants on the successful launch of
the Arabic Quitline 2003.
If you are an Arabic speaker who would
like to give up smoking, then please call 0800 169 1300 for friendly,
confidential advice
in Arabic.
Alternatively e-mail MHN for a free Arabic Quitline booklet.
