ELECTROCUTION

Electrocution is an extremely life threatening emergency. Dial 999 for the ambulance service. If someone is electrocuted, ensure that the power source is switched off from the plug or from the main electrical consumer unit. Assist the casualty according to their injuries, they will probably be in a state of shock, could be unresponsive and have various degree of burns. Keep the individual calm, comfortable and relaxed until the emergency services arrive.
